Eid al-Adha 2025 – Friday, June 6th at Dover Masjid

🕌 Celebrate Eid with Us – Prayer Times, Sunnah Tips & More

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

We are pleased to announce that Eid al-Adha prayers will be held on Friday, June 6th, 2025, Insha’Allah. May Allah accept our worship and sacrifices during these blessed days.

There will be two Eid Jama’ats at the masjid:

• 🕗 First Jama’at: 8:00 AM
• 🕘 Second Jama’at: 9:00 AM

Sisters are welcome to attend both jama’ats.

🌙 Sunnah Acts to Remember on Eid Day

Make the most of this special day by practicing the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ:

• Perform Ghusl (ritual bath) before the Eid prayer
• Wear your best clothes (new, clean, and modest)
• Apply perfume (for men)
• Do not eat before the Eid al-Adha prayer
• Recite the Takbeer abundantly on the way to the prayer and throughout the day:

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa Lillahil-hamd

🐑 Don’t Forget Your Qurbani (Udhiyah)

Eid al-Adha commemorates the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Fulfill this beautiful Sunnah by arranging your Qurbani/Udhiyah promptly and ensure it is done in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
